"NYC-based Singer/Songwriter Craig Greenberg got his start during his self-proclaimed "gypsy years" while living out of the country from late 2001 through 2004. After doing much "musical soul searching", performing on the streets and in the bars around Chile and Spain, he returned home to NY in late 2004 and began immersing himself in the ever-thriving NYC music scene.
Craig, a largely self-taught musician who writes and performs on both piano and guitar, is known for his unique soulful, endearing voice, and his exceptional musicality. His sound has been compared to artists such as Ben Folds, Billy Joel, Coldplay, Randy Newman, Dave Matthews, and Paul Simon. Craig's songs, in content and feel, run the gamut from light-hearted and tongue and cheek, to quite dark and edgy. It's his range that sets him apart as a songwriter.
In November of '07, Craig co-produced and released his first EP, entitled "The World and Back" (AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON THIS SITE!), and is now finishing his second EP, which will be being released late summer 2010.
